• User-generated content (images & text): Content you submit (such as photos, scan images, or text queries) are processed on our servers or third-party APIs. For scanning apps (like MathScans), photos are processed immediately to generate solutions and are not stored permanently.
• Activity and history: Your recognized queries, app history, and settings are saved in your account to synchronize across your devices.
• Subscription data: We collect and receive subscription status events (via payment processor RevenueCat or native App Stores) to determine if your premium membership is active.
• Usage analytics: We collect anonymized event and feature usage statistics to diagnose errors and improve app performance.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To run, deliver, and improve skknexus applications.
• To process content (e.g. OCR and AI generation) using third-party APIs.
• To manage subscription active states and verify access controls.

We may share specific data with reliable third-party infrastructure tools and APIs to power app features:

• Supabase: For secure database hosting and sign-in authentication.
• RevenueCat: For secure processing of app subscription receipts and purchase history.
• OpenAI / Third-Party AI APIs: For processing AI requests and text generation.
• Mathpix: For math image text recognition (OCR) inside MathScans.

4. Data retention & deletion

Your history and account details are stored until you delete them or request account closure. You can clear history directly in the app. To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, please contact us at privacy@skknexus.com.

5. Children's privacy

Our applications are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal details, we will delete them immediately.
